We loved the property, its layout and how close it is to the beach. The house is perfect for a family of 4 and we were happy to know that they welcome pets. We enjoyed the backyard, the pool and of course the beach. We loved it so much that we have already rented it again for 2025!

Property was as advertised, and we were comfortable as a family of 4 with a dog (there was one extra bed, so we would have been just as comfy with an extra person). Kitchen was neatly furnished, appliances in good condition (including washer/dryer). Backyard with pool is fenced, which is great for the dog. We perused the bicycles that were included; we were offered credit towards beach gear, but did not use it as the beach was so close so we did not stay on the beach too long at a time. In addition to the proximity to the beach, it’s a quick walk to Coligny plaza (ice cream shops, restaurants …) Two things that were not obvious from the listing: (1) the Spanish moss around the property is awesome, you would be literally looking straight up at it if you lied on your back in the pool. (2) the surrounding properties on all three sides have two stories and overlook the pool area, so not for those looking for seclusion/privacy at the pool (that being said, some nearby properties have pools at the front of the property with no fencing, so it is an upgrade from that)

The property is ideally located and was perfect for our small family and our two dogs. Just steps from the beach and with a lovely heated pool, we never lacked for a place to swim. The fully fenced yard was the perfect playground for the dogs.

We have stayed in many properties on HHI and we really like the location of the house to Coligny and the beach. Loved the screened-in porch to relax in the evening I don't think our family could say enough about how comfortable the beds were.The guest bathroom needs a bit of updating but everything else was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in many properties on HHI and we really like the location of the house to Coligny and the beach. Great location near quiet part of the beach. No chair rental or beach patrol so we packed appropriately. Our 9 & 12 year old enjoyed the pool - it was professionally cleaned 2x during our stay. The bike path to Coligny makes for an easy "commute". Downsides was the need for a deep clean and some construction noise, but did not detract from the charm. Will be back.

We had stayed at this property prior to this visit and will stay there again. Perfect location for just two people with pool and easy walk to a not-so-crowded beach (at least post-Labor Day). Cute cottage that can accommodate more people, too, with three bedrooms. Great kitchen and living room as well.

We are a family of two adults and two Labradors, and this property was absolutely perfect for us. Price was great considering the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach. The house itself was clean, updated and decorated nicely. The bathroom tub and shower stall could use and overhaul, they're perfectly functional, just show their wear. The kitchen was well stocked. The reason we chose this particular location was the fact that it has an epic back yard - decent sized, private pool, nice patio with furniture and a grill, as well as completely fenced in, which is perfect for the dogs! It's a shame that the lot directly behind the house is now under construction with a very large house that blocks the afternoon sun completely, and will void that epic backyard of any privacy once completed. (that is the only reason we are not rebooking this house for next year). Vacation Company was great, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We had an issue with the door code when we arrived, as well as a vehicle being parked in the driveway (neighbor), and they were very responsive and quick in getting everything remedied for us. The starter packs of dishwasher, laundry, garbage bags etc is a perfect amount for a one week rent. The welcome dog care package was a super nice touch!

This is the cutest house! Perfect for a family of 5 and a dog. The house was clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed (pots/pans/bowls/utensils/potholders). A/C, washer, dryer, dishwasher worked well. Screened porch was nice (has a ceiling fan but an oscillating fan would be nice to have in the August heat). Photos of the screened porch shows a picnic table which is no longer there. Fenced backyard was great for the dog. Pool was clean (and cleaned at least once while we were there) with sun in the morning/shade in the afternoon. We found it relaxing. The location could not have been better! Quiet neighborhood. Two-minute walk to the beach, with beach access at the end of the road (easy to return to the house for lunch or if you forget something). Beach wasn't crowded (crowded at Coligny Beach public access [south] and Sonesta Resort [north]. Easy bike/drive to grocery stores, restaurants and specialty stores. Four bikes (including bike locks) provided. If/When we return to HHI, we would rent this house again.

This our 4th time staying at 6 Lark. The size is perfect for 6 people. The walk to the beach is one minute and forty seven seconds (yes, I timed it), House is nicely maintained. Pool and outdoor shower were nice as well as the screened in patio, The extra refrigerator is nice. We would have liked to have had a sweeper to keep the floors sand free. Extra mixing bowls would have been helpful and a larger table in the dining room. Other than that it was a wonderful location to the bike trails and shops and restaurants.

Everything about our experience was top notch. The location was perfect, steps from the beach. The house was charming, well decorated and well equipped. Our property managers (especially Fiona) were so helpful and cheerful. We had a glitch with the internet, and they were on site within minutes and got us set back up. We came in February, and enjoyed the cooler weather. I think we're coming back next year in January! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

I did enjoy this home and the proximity to the beach. 100 or so steps to the sand was nice. The home was well maintained and convenient to amenities. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the items you would need for cooking. One thing that I did not notice and I don't remember any mention of this is that the fridge doesn't make ice but that was easy to fix with a few bags for the freezer. The pool did collect leaves and debris from the trees so it need to be cleaned but that was a 5 minute job each day. Overall I loved this home and would stay here again. I loved sitting on the screen porch every morning having coffee. The shower in the master bedroom is much bigger than the pictures so that was a super nice feature.

Had a great time in HH. The house is very close to center of island within walk or bike ride. The bikes were with the house which was a new c’è perk. The house was clean and well maintained. The only downside was it was a little dark with the shade trees. Loved it! Exactly what we hoped for!

We had a great stay. Great property for a small group with a fantastic screened in porch. Lost a couple of days by the pool due to a fire ant issue but that got resolved and we could enjoy for rest of stay. Hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful time on Hilton Head Island, and in large part to the location of your home. The size was perfect for our family of two adults and three teenagers.
