Description Description
Sea Pines Sanctuary has it all on the second row from the beach. The second floor is an open, sunlit space with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. Other highlights include a great outdoor area with a private pool and spa! This island dream house is a short, flip-flop walk to the Salty Dog and just a few sandy steps to the beach!

NOTE REGARDING SOUTH BEACH SEA PINES GUESTS: Phase 5 of the Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project is scheduled to begin in early fall 2024 with an estimated completion time of Spring 2025. This project is vital for repairing and improving the stormwater drainage system, as well as the roadway and leisure trail conditions along South Sea Pines Drive.

• Heavy machinery and construction vehicles will be traveling to and from the project site.

• Single-lane road closures and flagging operations will be in place daily, weather permitting. Temporary full lane closures may be required at times.

• Motorists should expect traffic delays, traffic detours, and be prepared to share the road with bike riders and pedestrians.

• Sidewalks and leisure trails in the project area will be closed as needed. Pedestrians and bike riders should expect delays and be prepared to stop and follow detours.

• For safety, bike riders will be required to dismount and walk bikes around the active work zones.

love the house
This was a wonderful house. We were able to get in the house early because one of your agents went out of her way to accommodate us. We had a great time. one of your agents got us in early. we have no complaints even though we had to deal with hurricane debby c u next year

1 Black Duck - 2nd Row Ocean & So Much More!
Nice home just a block from beach at tip of island. Comfy living room and beds, well stocked kitchen, bikes provided which were great fun to ride on beach. Only problem was that we had specifically chosen a home with an in-ground hot tub and double checked with agent before arriving to confirm it would be working. Sadly, upon arrival we found it was not working at all-- property management staff were prompt in replying and tried several attempts to fix it but turned out a major part was needed that did not arrive. Functioning of tub should have been checked before our arrival.

Excellent Home!
This 2nd row home was perfect for our 2 families. A 3 minute walk to the beach! The Vacation Company was incredibly thorough and quickly responsive to any of our needs. The house layout is great and there was just enough communal areas and private areas for our group of 11. The kitchen was well appointed and had high end appliances. We could walk to South Beach/Salty dog in 5 minutes and Harbor Town and Coligny were a half hour bike on the trails. We loved the outdoor seating area off the dining room - from our morning coffee to our happy hours! The pool and spa were perfect . It was nice having the 4 bikes come with house. The high level of communication initiated by the Vacation Company was much appreciated. We have been coming to HHI for many years and we would love to stay at 1 Black Duck again.

Great Location, Nice House
Location is great! It's an easy walk to the beach via Water Tower Park. Also a short walk to the Marina. Common living areas are really nicely updated. Living room was very comfortable, a great place to hangout once the kids were in bed. There's a great screened-in patio off the main floor. Kitchen is updated and has everything we needed to make dinner multiple nights. Fridge was oddly shallow, but fits the style of the kitchen. Bathrooms could stand to be updated but they were in good condition. I wouldn't lower the star rating for it. Our mattress could have been more comfortable - it felt a bit worn. It wasn't like a hotel mattress that's nice a plush. Would recommend it get replaced, but again wouldn't lower a start rating for it, it didn't keep me from sleeping well. We didn't end up using the pool (at the beach the whole time), but it looked really nice as well as the patio area. Only other minor critique is there were only like 10 hangers in the house. So we needed to go buy hangers to hang our clothes up from our luggage. Would recommend hangers be provided. Overall a great location and really nice house. Would definitely stay here again!

Sea Pines is Awesome!
This property had it all. Excellent kitchen, living space and pool. Our family had a wonderful time. Short walk to the beach which was serene and beautiful. Few people on the beach so it was easy to social distance. Loved the entire week!

Easy living on the coast
The location of this house is amazing. A quick walk into the beach or a short bike ride to The Salty Dog for dinner. This house is set up for relaxation and peace.

Great house for a great trip!
We loved staying in this house. We had two crawling babies with us and it was a great layout for them - we were also happy that there was a baby gate at the stairs. The close proximity to the beach and South Beach was very convenient meaning that we didn't have to drive anywhere if we didn't want to. Having the bikes with the house was also very convenient. The screened in porch was also very nice and relaxing. We would definitely stay at this house again.
