Spring Break Girls Trip
This house was amazing! Truly a home away from home! The pool, hot tub, and beach access was amazing! A calm area but close to stores and restaurants! We loved the beach town! The house had so many rooms and space for everyone! It was amazing!

Best trip!
This was the BEST spring break trip and the house was perfect! From the moment we got there, everything was so great. The house felt brand new and was spotless with beautiful decorations. We were looking for somewhere to relax and unwind and that is exactly what we got. We spent hours laying out by the pool or walking three minutes to the beach! Being so close to the beach made everything so easy to get up, pack snacks, and then spend all day laying in the sun. There was plenty of space and the house had everything we could need. It was within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and parks that made our trip exactly what we were hoping for. We were so sad to leave when the week was up and we're already thinking about when we will be able to spend time here again. We would 100% recommend this house to anyone looking to stay and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing winter vacation!
This is a beautiful house with everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation! We have been to Hilton Head a number of times, though never in the winter. We have also stayed in the North Forest Beach area and this is our favorite so far! Easy walk to the beach and a short bike ride to Coligny. Most of the shops and restaurants were open and the island was a fun place to celebrate the new year. The house is very well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need and the master suite is particularly gorgeous! Plenty of bedrooms and the upstairs has its own living room space. There was even a day it was warm enough to swim in the heated pool and the hot tub was lovely. I would love to rent this house in the summer when the island is in full swing. Definitely a good place for families and group vacations. Can’t wait to go back!

Coastal Charm
This home had it all! From its coastal vibes to touches of luxury that made it feel like a true vacation. Each room was beautifully furnished with everything you might need for your stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and master bath was simply a taste of luxury. This home has plenty of space to house multi families, including a bonus living room on the second floor. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked. There was also plenty of seating between the table and several bar stools. With the pool right off the deck and the beach less than a 3 minute walk, this made vacationing with kids a breeze! The stand alone hot tub was also an exciting bonus! Would absolutely recommend. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Roomie reunion
OMG - your place is absolutely gorgeous and so well appointed! We had everything we needed in the most beautiful location on this earth. We will definitely come back again! Beds are so comfortable and the proximity to the beautiful beach was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed for some home cooked meals and within walking distance to Coligny mall which was adorable. Bikes were much appreciated with all the great biking trails nearby. Wonderful location and updates!
An excellent home and a great stay! We were the beneficiaries of recent upgrades. The proximity to the beach is perfect. Has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed. Lots of space to hang out inside and out. Ideal for a group or family.

Renourishment Project 

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. 

This is a 24/7 project.

The beach renourishment project will occur in three phases, with an anticipated completion date of May 2026. The anticipated schedule is as follows:

  • Phase 1 - Port Royal (the Heel), Fish Haul and Pine Island
    • Complete - Contractor mobilizes in August 2025.
    • Complete - Weeks of August 13, 2025 thru September 17, 2025 - Fish Haul area
    • Complete - Weeks of September 18, 2025 thru October 10, 2025 - Pine Island
    • Complete - Weeks of October 11, 2025 thru October 17, 2025 - Port Royal (The Heel)
  • Phase 2 - Central Island, South Island and South Beach
    • Weeks of December 11, 2025 thru March 28, 2026 - Central Island, including beach areas along Palmetto Dunes
    • Weeks of March 28, 2026 thru May 31, 2026 - South Island and South Beach areas .
  • Phase 3 - Pine Island Breakwater Structures
    • Weeks of November 1, 2025 thru April 30, 2026

“It’s a priority to preserve, protect and cherish our beaches – one of our greatest assets. Our Island depends on their ongoing vitality. The Town’s role is to carry out the community’s collective dedication to this environmental core value through our investment in restoration and maintenance,” said Mayor Alan Perry. “And fortunately, due to the foresight of Town leaders before us and thanks to our millions of visitors, this project is funded through our beach preservation fund and capital improvement program.”


Beach renourishment is a moving work zone that typically progresses at about 1,000 feet per section-just 2% of the Island’s total beach area. On average, only 300 feet of beach will be impacted per day. Temporary beach access ramps and clear signage will help direct beachgoers safely around active work areas to open areas of the beach. As soon as an active site is completed, the equipment will move down the beach and the newly renourished section will open.

Special protection has been made for wildlife that may be impacted because of the project. All work will be supervised by consultant teams under contract to monitor sea turtles and migratory shorebirds. Additionally, per a requirement of the beach renourishment permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), the Town amended its municipal code to restrict animal/dog activity in an area adjacent to Fish Haul Creek beach park. This requirement protects endangered shorebird species that migrate and nest there. Signage is posted and no other beach areas will be affected. Dogs are still allowed per the Town’s seasonal rules – only a small section of the creek area adjacent to the beach park is restricted.

Marinex Construction, Inc., the contractor for the project, began mobilizing equipment this month in preparation for the work. This includes positioning their offshore barges and staging miles of steel pipes to pump sand from ocean shoals back to beaches. Crews will be working around the clock daily.

The beach renourishment process helps to:

  • Preserve a healthy shoreline ecosystem for wildlife such as sea turtles and shorebirds.
  • Protect beachfront properties and infrastructure from storms.
  • Provide wider, more enjoyable beaches for residents and visitors alike.
