We recently stayed at 8 Rum Row and had a wonderful visit.  The house was recently updated and had plenty of space for our family/friends.  The bedrooms were amazing, each with their own en suite.  The kitchen was well equipped and the backyard area was phenomenal.   
The home included everything we'd hope to see in a vacation unit.  (plenty of beach towels, streaming devices on all tv's, laundry baskets in each bedroom, plenty of hangers, etc.)  No details were missed. 
Finally, we had an easy 4-minute bike ride to the beach or you could walk in about 10 minutes.  We've rented other properties from The Vacation Company and would return to 8 Rum Row anytime!

We had a great stay. The house is lovely - totally renovated and beautifully decorated with calm colors and beach décor. The water view pops as soon as you walk thru the front door. The lagoon kind of wraps around the back of the property so all of the common areas (inside and outside) have spectacular views of the water. Sunsets are beautiful. The huge screened porch overlooking the pool and lagoon was a favorite place to hang out, especially at night. The pool and spa were very fun when we weren’t at the beach. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for a large group. We particularly liked the layout of the house. All but the kids bonus room are on one level, but the bedrooms and common areas are spread out nicely. The bedrooms are all very large with private bathrooms. This is a great location in Palmetto Dunes, close enough to the beach but very quiet with little car traffic. We can hardly wait to return for another visit.
