This is our second time renting this house for our annual Special Olympics North American tennis/pickleball tournaments. The house generously accommodates all of our athletes that travel, is clean, allows us to be able to cook meals instead of eat out and is our favorite house we have stayed in. The check in process is easy, the company is quick to respond and is always helpful. We look forward to more stays at this house.

This is our second year at 52 Gloucester. The size, comfort, location, cleanliness of home, pool and ease of reservation and check in and out process will bring us back next year. Our three generation group gave it a unanimous thumbs- up. We are 32 year veterans of family vacations on Hilton Head and we have stayed at least once in most areas. 52 Gloucester is among the best.

We LOVED our stay. The house was perfect and had absolutely everything we needed. The pool was fantastic, and the pool lights and landscape lighting were so pretty; made swimming in the evenings a fun part of the trip. We debated on heating the spa since it was going to be warm, but are glad we did. We really enjoyed it in the evenings. The screened porch was a delight to have, we spent late nights/early mornings playing games and working puzzles. The extra amenities were so well thought out. Having bikes to enjoy riding around the trails that take you everywhere was appreciated as well as having some extras to take to the beach. We did use the bikes to get to the beach. It is walkable, takes some time though, so we mostly drove or rode bikes to the beach. Parking at beach is limited so going earlier in the morning or just after lunch made parking easier. No trouble though when we couldn’t find parking. We just drove and dropped off people/beach stuff and two of us took the car back to the house and then enjoyed a bike ride back to the beach. The beach that’s accessed from Shipyard is very nice with a great walkway with showers and restrooms, and there was a lifeguard. The location of the house to access grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants was great, close to everything. Also enjoyed some visitors at the house including deer, red shoulder hawks and a few golfers that went a little right of the course. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing it.

The house and setting nestled in the beautiful Shipyard Oaks with Spanish Moss dangling down were the one of many highlights of this gated community. There are ample paved trails for biking or strolling. The house and pool area are just perfect for kicking back and relaxing. The kitchen has plenty of provisioning that makes cooking a breeze. Loved how clean the house and community was. The only downside was deciding if we wanted to go out for dinner or stay in!!

We own a villa in another Shipyard complex but we needed more space for a family wedding. The house was spacious, clean, and everything that was advertised. The pool area was amazing and made it difficult to venture away from the property. This property surpassed all expectations!

In addition to all of the usual things (well-equipped kitchen with super modern appliances, great location, awesome pool, comfy beds, etc.), I'll mention a few of the other things that made this house so special: - ONE tiny half-step at the front door. Easy to bring in groceries and luggage. And about 2 steps from the driveway. - Speaking of the driveway, the entire driveway and walkways were brand new concrete. Not worn out uneven pavers or busted up asphalt. - Plenty of space for parking cars. - A pool that was all one depth that makes it super easy for all. - excellent pressure for the showers (even the outside one with both hot and cold water). - modern spa and very cool pool lights that could change colors or rotate colors. - HVAC system that kept that house COLD with zero fluctuations. - modern pool chaise lounge chairs, and a grill that was excellent and not worn out with burners that don't work like some places. To summarize, just a great house that presses all of the right buttons! We'll be back!

Love this wonderful house & the help from The Vacation Company was appreciated. The house was better than described. Clean, great size for 7 of us, used the kitchen, grill, pool. Close to everything. Viking appliances, enough chairs/room for us to sit together in den or in dining room or around pool. We ate on screened in patio too.

Beautiful. Clean. Spacious (seemed much larger than pictured). The pool was the perfect size for our kids (ages 1-6) and had lead-in steps at both ends. Outdoor shower and grill were a plus. The screened in porch was large and a great way to enjoy the outdoors without direct sunlight (or when it rained). Single level floor plan was great for kids. We loved the very open floor plan with views of the pool from multiple rooms. The Vacation Company was very responsive to our call about a fan/light not working in the 4th bedroom on arrival and an electrician was on-site within a few hours. Our only critique would be adding more shelf/dresser space in the 4th bedroom (the closet is smaller and has limited shelves for 3 beds/occupants). This was our first time renting through The Vacation Company, and we will likely be a returning customer! Loved this house for a multi family stay with young children!!

52 Gloucester is a great home with ample room, and amenities. The private pool is a great feature during hot summer days. This home has everything for a couple or a large family. Will definitely want to return.

House was roomy enough for six of us. Kitchen was fairly well supplied. Seating in living room needs updating and more seating added. Only drawback is that it is managed by a company (I am a VRBO owner and manage my own property, I understand this is not always feasible), and the supplies provided (other than sheets and towels) for a two week stay are so minimal they might as well not provide anything!

This is a great house in a really beautiful area! We loved the pool and the kitchen is really nice. We like to cook on vacation, so that was a bonus : ) You do need to bring ALL of your supplies (even salt and pepper) for the kitchen. The kids loved the pool and the bedrooms were all nice. The bikes were a great extra. Would definitely stay here again!

This home was lovely. Enough space for my family of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant. Close to everything. LOVED the pool, screened in porch and gas grill. I would suggest to drive to the beach early to get a space to park. We also rode bikes to the beach as well . we will definitely stay here again. If I had any negatives, the one bathroom was a little dated but the rest of the house high end everything. Very private as well.

We rented this property to share with another couple, they have two kids under 7 as do we. The layout was perfect, very spacious, never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool/spa was amazing, we were in it every day, even on chilly days thanks to the heater! The house was clean and well equipped, we loved our time here and are already talking about coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked into the front door, we knew we made the right choice. Although this is a big property, it felt so homey and cozy. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, utensils, again, everything you need. The attention paid to every detail was so much appreciated. Although the pictures here are nice they really don't do the home justice. We travel a lot, and we will add this property to a short list of homes that we will definitely book in the future. Hilton Head is a beautiful place to visit and staying at this property made our stay extra special. As I said, beautiful, peaceful, perfection!!!

52 Gloucester is a wonderful home and was perfect for the 6 of us adults who vacationed there the first week of August. There was plenty of room for us to relax! The kitchen had everything you needed, the beds were very nice and the location was awesome! The men enjoyed the many golf courses too! The pool was a big hit as we had pretty hot temps at the beginning of our week. The restaurants were hard to get a reservation for so I suggest booking before you go down! Otherwise the waits were just a little long but not bad at all. The beach was enjoyable, although we're spoiled with the NJ shore! The only negative was the house needed a few minor fixes. I'm sure it's rented a lot so it's prob hard to get a tradesman in there to fix things, but hopefully in the off season some things will be addressed. Overall, a very pleasant stay on HHI! Thanks!!!

As advertized....great house! Had everything we needed plus more for a great first time stay in HHI. Really liked the location....close to everything. Quiet neighborhood, great bike trails for walking or riding. House had 3 hairdryers, a pac n play, baby gate and 2 box fans not listed on the amenities. A couple minor issues but we figured them out.....1. unless you have experience with a convection cook top you might want to read the instructions we found in the bottom drawer, 2. there are no instructions for turning on or adjusting the spa or pool temperatures, 3. the door deadbolt to the porch is unlike any I have ever seen....lifting right handle sets the deadbolt....keep it locked by then turning the deadbolt latch, 4. the hose on the kitchen faucet leaks continuously while in use....it has a hole in the braided line. Finally the pool toys, while nice, need to be cleaned or disposed of as 1. I wouldn’t blow up any inflatables and 2. There is mold/ mildew in the storage bin. We are used to a book at the house addressing unique items to the property. We understand that the Vacation Company is trying to go all app based but suggest they add an area for unique items for each property. With that said the Property Management was very responsive to all our needs and we would definitely consider returning to this property next year without a doubt....

Very nice home set in a quiet setting. The layout is lovely for up to eight with updated baths, kitchen, and decor. Beds and bedding in all bedrooms were great. We were here when it was too cool to use the pool, but backyard and pool are very nice.

Our stay at Hilton head was wonderful. The house was beautiful and perfect for our families. The pool was a delight and there was great room to gather between the kitchen, family room, and outside area. It's perfect to rent bikes and ride to the local shopping center with great restaurants. I would love to stay here again.

This house is incredible. My 2 sons, their wives, and 5 children came with me. It is furnished and decorated so nicely, but is still very kid friendly. The bunk room for the kids was great, the pool outstanding, kitchen was a marvel my son who is a chef loved it. Location was wonderful, we've been coming to HH for 20 yrs. and love being in Shipyard.
