3364 Lake Forest

The selling point for us selecting this home was the enclosed back porch since we were coming in September when HHI is known for rain. We spent more time out there than any other part of the house and truly loved that feature about this home. The home is comfortable and met our needs. It seems like several areas of the home are in need of some updates. The master bedroom furniture and master bathroom are dated and the master shower is extremely small. I'm petite and found it difficult to shave my legs in the cramped space! We noticed several lights or outlets that didn't work. Not a big deal; just inconvenient. We were grateful for the box fans as the master bedroom ceiling fan wouldn't operate any higher than low and there is no ceiling fan in the guest bedroom. We have been renting homes on the island and predominantly in Sea Pines for over 25 years and just feel like we have come to expect a little nicer finishes for the rate we paid on this trip.

We loved our stay here. It was comfortable and highly functional, and we were surprised by how nice the pool is. We ended up there much more than anticipated. The porch overlooking the lagoon was a highlight (as someone else mentioned—the furniture needs to be updated). Lots of fun biking to the beach. We would stay here again very gladly.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is very clean and located in an area where you can ride a bike to beach or shopping. The screened porch is very relaxing to watch wildlife especially alligators! We rode bikes to Heritage golf tournament. So much easier to park! We hope to return and spend more time in Hilton Head. Would return to this condo for sure!

Many positive things to say about this property and the experience working with The Vacation Company. Tiffany, specifically, at The Vacation Company was fabulous to work with. She was kind, accommodating, and a great partner. The property at 3364 Lake Forest is fabulous. It feels very spacious inside, has a WONDERFUL screened-in porch on the back that overlooks a peaceful lagoon, and it is a nice bike ride or run (or walk) to island spots that are fun -- Harbor Town, South Beach, elsewhere. My wife and I stayed 3 weeks in this unit and really enjoyed it. This is a great spot to consider, and we highly recommend working with The Vacation Company brand.

The property exceeded our expectations. We had a fabulous view of the lake, especially from the screened in porch. Saw lots of alligators swimming and birds flying. It was a peaceful spot and only a short 15 minute bike ride to the beach. The unit was clean and comfortable and we will definitely want to rent it again when we go back to Hilton Head.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. Although a bit further from the beach than other places we’ve stayed, it’s an easy drive, bike or shuttle ride to get there. The house itself has a wonderful lagoon behind it where you can see all kinds of wildlife (alligators, birds and lizards to name a few). The screened in back patio is great for relaxing and taking in nature. The house itself had plenty of room for our family of 5, with the couch pulling out to make a nice bed. Everything was clean and neat when we arrived. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here. The villa was clean. It was not super close to the ocean, but a 15 minute bike ride so doable. My kids really enjoyed the complex pool which we usually had to ourselves. The screened in back porch was a very nice addition, we spent a lot of time out there and even saw alligators on several occasions. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at 3364 Lake Forest. Our favorite spot was the screened in back porch. We spent many hours out there and all agreed this was our favorite place we have stayed in on our numerous trips to Hilton Head. The kitchen was very well stocked, so we were able to enjoy meals in the villa as well as at the restaurants. Highly recommend this property. We are keeping it in our notes for future trips to HHI.

This was the best villa we have stayed in in Sea Pines. Location, natural beauty and efficiency of the condo were all factors in our wonderful stay. Interaction with the rental company was superb. We had an amazing time while visiting Sea Pines. This condo was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. The view from the back porch was what convinced us on this property. The pictures online are beautiful, but it’s even better in person. We were very pleased when we arrived. We also received bike vouchers with our condo which covered 4 adult bikes and a wagon. Lovely home in a terrific (and quiet) location. Very well appointed, clean, comfortable. The on call manager was extremely attentive and responsive, and we had no major issues during our stay. We enjoyed our HHI visit! The property was well decorated and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, relaxing and enjoying nature's views. It has a nice central location. The area was somewhat noisy at times due to traffic on Greenwood Road, which had to be crossed to get to the bike path. We also had problems with the refrigerator, which had to be replaced early in our stay. The grill did not work and the fans located on the porch quit working along with the outside TV. The management responded but we quit calling them because it was taking up too much of our vacation time. In spite of the problems, we would stay here again!

Our family spent a week here in this beautifully decorated Villa. The beachy decor made it feel more exciting. We thoroughly enjoyed the screen porch area and used it every morning. The property was convenient to the trolley stop (for beach access) and we could quickly and easily get to restaurants/grocery store and shops. However, I didn't feel it was the safest exit for bike riding with our children as Greenwood is a busy street, so we didn't do biking this year. As with most rentals that I stay in - I do feel it could use a good cleaning for corner cobwebs and cleaning under/around the furniture. We enjoyed the pool amenities in the complex- it was very clean, spacious and plenty of seating. All in all I would stay here again.

Property has been very nicely renovated and love the porch on the back. Out teenage granddaughters loved the TV on the porch where they watched scarry movies at night. We have come to Lake Forest for many, many years and this address was the first place we stayed (of course, it didn't look like it does now). Would recommend in a flash.

This beautiful spot is centrally located and has everything you'd need for a visit to Hilton Head Island. Seven minutes to Harbour Town. Five minutes to Coligny Beach. The central location is the best. Both bedrooms are beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. The three season room is a great addition. High quality woodwork and a great view of the lake. We loved our time here. You will too.

We've stayed in Sea Pines before, but this location was by far our favorite. The view blew us away. The yard backs up to the wildlife preserve. We saw every manner of wild bird (Osprey, Anhinga, Ibis, Heron, Ducks) from the lovely screened-in porch. The home provided plenty of room to move about inside and out. With a full kitchen, cooking and eating in was easy. We can't wait to return!

Lake Forest is a great community with a communal pool. We chose this place for its central location within Sea Pines as we bike everywhere and because it offered two separate beds in the guest room on the opposite side of the condo from the master. It offered access to a private washer/dryer, a nice supply of pans and knives and exterior BBQ. Additionally, the screened in porch created an extra room during the evening pop up showers. In all, we loved our week in Lake Forest.
