STARTING 9/30/2024 THE SHOREWOOD ELEVATORS WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR REPLACEMENT. THEY WILL START WITH THE STACKS 1, 2 & 3 UNITS 101-501, 102-502, 103-503 ELEVATOR WHICH SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 6 WEEKS, ONCE COMPLETED, THEY WILL MOVE TO THE 2nd ELEVATOR IN THE STACK 4, 5 & 6 UNITS 104-504, 105-505, 106-506 WHICH WILL TAKE ANOTHER 6 WEEKS FOR COMPLETION. THEY ARE HOPING TO HAVE THIS COMPLETED BY 1/18/2025.

Great week at the beach

Beautiful views. Close to the beach and Coligny. Nice large pool. The only negative was the absence of outdoor grills.

Amazing view and location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is very comfortable and the view is spectacular. We loved sitting in front of the picture window and enjoying the view. We come to HHI a few times a year and always stay ocean front in N or S Forest Beach. There were some things about this place that were above and beyond. First, the pool area is really nice. Large hot tub. Walk in entry pool. Second, access to bike racks was very easy. Third, the property mgmt company was very responsive - The Vacation Company. When we arrived the HVAC wasn't working. I called the customer service line and they were amazing. Fixed the HVAC promptly and seamlessly. Fourth, this property is gated which was nice. Trash disposal was easy with trash chutes right outside units. Balconies are very private from neighbors. Sometimes it's the little things you notice! This was a very enjoyable vacation.

Great View

Shorewood may be aging but this is still a nice renovated unit. The balcony view never disappoints and the location is perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

The view is awesome!

The view is awesome! It faces the beach/ocean and is closest to the beach. Gated with pass was good for that location, however there still were issues with people that had many people staying in there units parking whithin the resort and running out of parking spots. Updates were welcome for the Bathrooms and kitchen.

Roomy and updated

Roomy and updated (not perfect, work needed on building) to make our stay very good! The location is probably the best on the island. You are close to stores, restaurants and the beach. We will be back!

Great Pool!

The complex: This is our second stay at this complex. We love it`s location on the beach, and we love the pool! It`s great that they heat the pool in fall and in spring. It keeps us coming back, as our kids absolutely love the pool! And the adults love the hot tub. The unit: This is our first stay in this particular unit, and we will definitely try to get this unit for our future stays. The unit was clean and updated. The furniture was nice and comfortable. The view of the beach can`t be beat! We love Hilton Head and come often and this is our new favorite place to stay!
