Flowing space with stunning wood floors, high vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows overlooking the pool deck, and a bright white and light blue palette never lets you forget that life's on a beach! The wide-open custom kitchen, where you can entertain the entire family around the enormous island, flows into the dining room that seats up to fourteen people and opens directly onto the large back deck with a private *heated pool/spa. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the whole family to relax and enjoy being on the island.

The great escape
We had a great escape down South from up North. Two families for five days in one amazing house two blocks from the beach! This was a great house with sooo much room for everyone to spread out. A warm pool and hot tub. It was great. We would all take this same trip again in a heartbeat. Very responsive hosts will help with every detail.

Wonderful home steps from the beach
My family loved staying at this home in Hilton Head! My young kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. Adults all loved having their own bedroom/bathroom with plenty of room to hang out as a group. Very close to the beach!

Lovely Home!
House was superior to any that we have rented. Now that family is older, having a private bath for each couple and a private bath for each bedroom was superb. The house looked fresh and clean with bicycles, beach cart, ping pong table on site. The twin door SubZero frig/ freezer was super having 12 hungry/thirsty family members for the week. The great room space and furniture on the first and second floor was great for playing family games. We liked the house and the location so much we decided to reserve the house for next year’s family gathering.

Worth repeating!

We enjoyed the house, the pool, the hot tub, the garage area game room and the bikes. Walking to the beach was easy and very close. My only negative is the pods (not sure what’s in these things) under the rims of the pool and hot tub and around the outside sitting area, wasn’t sure why this couldn’t be removed before guest arrive. I even took a picture of them, thought I’d attached to this review but not sure how to do that. Great place to stay, easy walking to shops too.

Family/friends Vacay
We enjoyed the house, the pool, the hot tub, the garage area game room and the bikes. Walking to the beach was easy and very close. 5 Minute Walk to Beach
Quick walk to the beach, ensuite bathroom on each bedroom, can walk to town or is within the range to have the Hilton Head Trolley take you to and from the house. Overall, a great stay! Only downsides, mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and most of the furniture you could tell was very cheap.

Perfect Home

Top Notch Rental House
Perfect location for a vacation. Just a short walk to the beach with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing activities nearby. This beautiful house is nicely decorated, clean, has comfortable bedrooms with private baths, a fully equipped kitchen, nice outdoor patio/pool area with a grill, and plenty of space to accommodate family groups/multiple couples. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Awesome Vacation Home
The house was beautiful and very spacious to fit a lot if people very comfortably. I quick walk to the beach and a short bike ride to all the main actions with shops and restaurants. An amazing place to stay in beautiful Hilton Head Island!

October 2017 Stay
This house was amazing and in a perfect location. We had a total of 8 family members (4 couples), and because of the size of the house and the open floor plan there was an abundance of room for everybody. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything you could possibly need. The beach was only a short 2-3 minute walk away, which made it easy to enjoy the sunrises every morning, and then make multiple trips back and forth during the day. We especially enjoyed the ability to either go for long walks or bike rides on both the beach and the many paths that went everywhere. Shopping, restaurants and grocery store were also only a short walk or bike ride away. As far as the choices we made when planning this vacation, the only thing we should have done different was stay longer.

Extended Family Spring Break
We loved our vacation and this house made it even better! We had 8 year olds, teens, adults and grandparents for a week- there was so much space, especially in the living areas, to spread out and be comfortable. The bedrooms were ample and able to give everyone a private bath. Everything was clean, decorated nicely, equipped, and comfortable. We also loved the location. Our teens rode bikes every day and got their own lunch. We biked to restaurants, bars and the Piggly Wiggly, very convenient. Easy walk to the beach and loved riding bikes the house provided on the beach. The night owls enjoyed the basement games and space while upstairs was quiet. Great house all around- we hope to come back! Thank you for making it easy for us!

Wedding Party
We stayed here with our entire wedding party. The house was great other then losing hot water the day of the wedding and it taking a couple hours for someone to fix it. Great house. We loved that there was a bathroom in every bedroom.

Great spot. Great setup.
We had an excellent experience. Accurate, timely info ahead of time. Well laid out and stocked home. Clean. Spacious. Only room for improvement might be mattresses. A few in our group said theirs were ‘soft’ and/or ‘lumpy’. Would rent again without hesitation.

52 N. Forest Beach Home
16 family members had an enjoyable time at 52 N. Forest Beach . Very open and plenty of space for everyone. Enjoyed the large kitchen and eating area where we could all sit together and enjoy dinner. Very clean and owner and manager were a pleasure to work with. Had a few minor issues and Vacation Company dealt with those in a very timely manner. They really go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Plenty of games to keep kids and adults busy. Corn hole and ladder golf were enjoyed by all. The 4 bikes that came with the house were an added plus and used every day on the various bike paths and to go into town for supplies. Felt very safe in letting the 4 teenagers ride to Coligny for ice cream or shopping etc. Had great meals at Redfish and Lowcountry. Teenagers loved Rita’s Ice!!! Took younger kids to the Pirate Cruise and crabbing. Teenagers and adults played a lot of Putt Putt and did some paddle- boarding. A few of us also did the 5k run at Palmetto Dunes on Wednesday’s. Had a great time and would recommend to friends and family. Only suggestion I would have , would be to put a dresser in the bedroom with the two double- beds.

2025 Beach Renourishment Project 2025 Beach Renourishment Project

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS provided by the TOWN OF HILTON HEAD ISLAND

Hilton Head Island's beach is crucial to both residents and the local economy. To preserve this valuable resource, the Town has planned a beach restoration project for Summer 2025, funded primarily by tourism through the local Beach Preservation Fee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
  • The 2025 beach renourishment is expected to be similar to the previous projects in 1990, 1997, 2006 and 2016.
  • The proposed project will include the placement of approximately 2.2 million cubic yards of beach compatible sand from up to four offshore borrow areas along about 46,500 ft of Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  • This project is part of the Town's ongoing beach management program, with renourishment scheduled every 8 to 10 years, depending on weather and beach conditions.
  • Pine Island in Hilton Head Plantation will be included in the 2025 restoration.
SAND PLACEMENT

The proposed project will include sand placement along five areas of the island shoreline:

  1. South Beach / South Island - Approximately 750,000 cubic yards of sand along approximately 10,230 feet of the southern Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  2. Central Island - Approximately 700,000 cubic yards along 28,860 feet of Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
  3. The Heel - Approximately 500,000 cubic yards of sand along 5,280 feet at the northeast point of the island at the intersection of the Atlantic Ocean and Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  4. Fish Haul Creek - Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand along about 2,130 feet of Port Royal Sound shoreline.
  5. Pine Island - Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of beach compatible sand and construction of six rock breakwaters on the Port Royal Sound shoreline of Hilton Head Plantation between Dolphin Head and Pine Island.
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The nourishment sand will be excavated by hydraulic dredge from two offshore shoal features.

  • Up to 50,000 feet of pipeline will be trucked or floated to the island by way of large rafts, then moved onto the beach.
  • The pipeline will be piled in stacks along the shoreline until needed during construction.
  • During construction, many miles of pipeline will be submerged on the ocean floor between the offshore borrow sites and the beach.
  • The rest of the pipeline will be laid progressively along the newly constructed beach as the fill sand is pumped on shore.

The dredge will pump a mixture of sand and seawater through the pipeline, and will discharge it onto the beach.

  • There, it will flow parallel to the shoreline - allowing the sand to settle out and the water to return to the sea.
  • Bulldozers and other heavy construction machinery will constantly shape the sand to meet the design specifications.

Project construction is expected to last approximately six months, operating around the clock.

  • On average, the process should move along the shoreline at a rate of about 200 to 300 feet per day.
  • As the fill placement progresses, approximately 1,000 foot sections of the beach are closed temporarily to pedestrian access.
  • Several days of work activity will occur seaward of any one piece of oceanfront property in the 1,000 foot active work area along the beach.
  • Once placed and rough-graded, the new beach is immediately reopened to the public.
IMPACTS ON RESIDENTS AND VISITORS
  • Construction noise will primarily involve bulldozers shaping the sand as it is deposited.
  • Disruptions at individual properties generally last about three or four days as the renourishment operation progresses.
  • Adjacent property owners, or renters, may experience short-term minor inconveniences.
