How to Enjoy the 53rd RBC Heritage Tournament on Hilton Head Island in 2021!

April is arguably one of the best months to visit Hilton Head Island. The weather is warm and pleasant, the beaches come to life with more visitors (but not so much to feel overcrowded), and the island exudes an exciting air as golf enthusiasts come the island to hit the greens

Although the impact of COVID-19 has changed how the 53rd RBC Heritage Tournament will take place this year, there are still many ways to join in and partake on the excitement of the tournament!

Here are some ways to fully immerse yourselves in the RBC Heritage tournament, and experience this exciting event in true Hilton Head Island fashion

1. SCORE TICKETS!

RBC Heritage will take place this year with limited spectators on-site, so rush your swing and get your tickets now! Choose between the Sponsor Village ticket, the Plaid Pass, or the Wednesday ticket. As always, parking is available for a fee and children ages 15 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. Remember to be a good sport and practice your three W’s: Wear a Mask, Watch Your Distance, and Wash Your Hands.

For more information, head to the official HBC Heritage site: https://rbcheritage.com/

2. PLAY *ALMOST* SIDE-BY-SIDE WITH SOME OF THE WORLD’S BEST ATHLETES!

If you could not score one of the limited passes for the tournament, you can still hit the green by staying -and playing- at the Tournament’s venue: Sea Pines Resort. There are still some rentals available, but they won’t last for too long. Contact us at 1-843-686-6100 or visit our website to book a vacation rental with an almost birds-eye view of all the golf action.

3. TAKE A LESSON… OR TWO!

If you are staying at Sea Pines, you are not only right by all the pro golf action, but you can also become a pro at golf yourself! The Golf Learning Center at Sea Pines counts with PGA trained and experienced instructors. They will help you straighten out your tee shots, improve your approach shots, and sharpen your game around the greens. Choose from one-, two-, or three-day schools and amp up to lower your scores. Fore!!!

4. HIT THE 19TH… OR 20TH HOLE!

Whether you play golf or are a happy spectator, you can feast and enjoy the lively atmosphere at the Hilton Head Island restaurants that always bring their culinary A-Game. Here are some restaurants that previous guests and locals alike always enjoy:

Breakfast All Day: Sunrise Café.

Palmetto Bay Sunrise Cafe is a casual cafe, open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They serve breakfast all day with favorites like biscuits n' gravy and their popular quiche. Guests rave about their Stuffed French Toast, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, and their Breakfast Burrito with homemade salsa.

Great Brunch Spot: Lowcountry Backyard.

Lowcountry Backyard serves a casual Lowcountry fare, from seafood to sandwiches served in an atmospheric setting with a garden. Guests rave about their Shrimp and Grits!

Fine Dining: Sage Room

The Sage Room features elevated American fare & wines in a casually upscale space, in case you fancy something fancier after a full day of golf action. You can also enjoy your meal in the presence of their open kitchen & chef's table. Reservations are recommended, so please call 843-785-5352.

Fare with a View: Dockside

Skull Creek Dockside has one of the most exquisite water views on all of Hilton Head Island. The sweeping waterfront view is showcased by full-pane glass windows throughout the restaurant, which means you can enjoy a fantastic view no matter where you dine.
